Brand Strategist

Location : Hudson Valley | Position Type : Part-time

We’re looking to add a fun-filled marketer to our team to act as a Brand Strategist on behalf of our Account Services team. Our Brand Strategists are the link between strategy and execution. They work with our team to brainstorm how to best serve our partners in a way that is impactful and delivers on contract promises. The Brand Strategists work one-on-one with a Tipsy Social small business partner to build a professional relationship that focuses on maximizing their marketing efforts and achieving their goals.

To be successful in this position, a Brand Strategist must be driven, think outside-of-the-box, proactive, and willing to immerse themselves within a brand. They will use their creativity and understanding of consumer behavior to develop, pitch, and execute on campaigns. They must be a go-getter and identify and complete contract deliverables without the need for direction.


  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, PR, or a related field; or Associates Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, PR, or a related field AND 1-2 years serving in a marketing, advertising, sales, or public relations role; or 4-5 years serving in a marketing, advertising, sales, or public relations role.
  • Reliable transportation throughout the Hudson Valley Region.
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills.
  • Experience with ALL major Social Media Platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Ability to work remotely with very little supervision.
  • Ability to hit the ground running.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working with, or within, the Food & Beverage Industry.
  • Working with clients on an Account Management level.
  • Working with or designing WordPress Websites.
  • Experience with Social Media Management platforms.


Hourly + Commission, based on experience

Major Responsibilities :

  • Developing, Pitching, and Executing comprehensive marketing campaigns on behalf of a Tipsy Social small business partner(s).
  • Maintaining regular communication with your partner(s) to discuss contract progress, upcoming events, needs, and future efforts.
  • Manage your partner(s) social media accounts including developing a content calendar, content curation, social posting, audience engagement, and reporting.
  • Work to identify and develop events and campaigns that correspond with your partner(s) milestones.
  • Create a hype for your partner(s) business and industry and work to develop a professional relationship that magnifies your bond.
  • Prospect for and qualify leads for new small business partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.
