Marketing Assistant

We’re looking to add a Marketing Assistant to our small team of passionate small business marketers in the Hudson Valley. The person in this role will be responsible for assisting in multiple different capacities from social media management to graphic design, and anything (or everything) in between. This person will be expected to complete specific tasks by deadlines and MUST be a proactive go-getter. The Marketing Assistant must have experience with various social media platforms, Photoshop, CRM tools, and Google Suite. This person must also be outgoing and willing to mix and mingle with small business owners in a professional manner. Travel within the Hudson Valley is required. This person will also be required to attend weekly/bi-weekly project meetings.

What it is not
– A stuffy corporate desk job. You will need to complete tasks by deadlines. In some cases, those tasks may pop up at 5pm on a Friday & need to be completed by 10pm on that same day
– A way to “earn extra money.” We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with our team and the business. If you’re not invested in working in this field, this is not a position for you.
– This is not a good position for someone who needs consistent direction. We need a self-starter who identifies needs and makes things happen before ever being told.

Preferred Experience :

  • Working in or with Restaurants & Bars
  • Strong Copywriting Skills
  • Working with or Designing WordPress Websites
  • Photoshop and Indesign Experience
